Esteban's Bigote Fiesta Extravaganza

So Stephen turned the big 3 and 0. I love my birthday man. We had a marvelous mustache party, complete with mexican food and cake. Thanks to all who came- it was ridiculously fun.

I told you I'd be bad at blogging...

So it's been months. As I'd predicted. I'm not sure if I have the dedication that it is required to blog on a consistent basis. Alas, I will press onward in a feeble attempt to keep this blog going. Plus I have some fun pictures.
We drove up to Palmyra and Niagara Falls with our upstairs flat mates, the Allens! They are the perfect peeps to travel with. It was great. Lots of water. And Books of Mormon. Not Book of Mormons, mind you.
Also, pardon my lack of ability to post pictures in the right direction.

The Flying Trapeze

So our good friend Mike decided to have a flying trapeze birthday party. Needless to say it was awesome. And terrifying. But awesome. Stephen decided not to commit suicide for this particular endeavor (he's extremely afraid of heights), so he observed from below, cheered me on, and took some video like the wonderful hubbie he is. Please enjoy.

Sunday Shamrocks

So we're gonna give this whole blog thing a go. I'm not really sure if either of us possess the dedication it requires to post something more than once every several months, but hey here's hoping! We both love browsing all of our friends' blogs so much, so why not join the club? I love to keep track of old friends, relatives, etc... without having to really see or talk to them in person, so why not return the favor? So here we go! Hold on to your tuckuses.
Event numero uno on the blog of Stephen and Jenn: St. Patties Parade 2009!
Whilst perusing around the neighborhood in pursuit of a Spanish textbook so that I can learn the difference between saying " I am sick" and "I am sick (in a psychological sense)" en EspaƱol, we came upon a large contingency of drunken, Irish bagpipers. They themselves seemed to be hell-bent on chasing after the high school flag twirling brigade (all girls). This was observed by both young and old chattering belligerently above their beer while waving Irish flags and shamrocks. Needless to say it was entertaining.
Top o' the mornin to ya!
